About this course

The APIE Core Course provides participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to understand and operate the Internet. Through a combination of self-paced online learning and interactive e-Workshop sessions, participants explore how the Internet evolved, how networks and services function, and how Internet technologies support communication and collaboration around the world.

Designed for university students and early-career learners across the Asia-Pacific region, the course combines technical learning with opportunities to engage with peers, instructors, and Internet professionals. As the starting point of the APIE learning journey, it prepares participants for further learning and engagement through APIE Camps, Advanced Camps, internships, fellowships, and other opportunities within the Internet community.
