This is an invitation-only program for learners who have completed
the APIE ONLINE Courses 1 and 2
and the APIE E-WORKSHOP.
Program Schedule
October 25 (Sun): Travel day
- Travel day
- Short meeting in the hotel(TBA).
October 26 (Mon): Network design and deployment
- Introduction of Camp program.
- Configure switch and routers to configure campus network. (VLAN, OSPF and other topics)
October 27 (Tue): Virtualization / Web server / Security
- Learn and configure virtualization related technology and Linux.
October 28 (Wed): DNS and DNS security
- Configure DNS using BIND. Each group will setup Authoritative name server and full-service resolver.
October 29 (Thu): IoT and Cloud technology
- IoT basic session in the morning. Also study about cloud computing platforms and try AWS boot camp.
October 30 (Fri): Group presentation / Site visit / Closing party
- Summary of the week.
- Visit data center and/or NOCs. Also discuss with professional engineers.
October 31 (Sat): Travel day
- Leave Kathmandu, Nepal

Tribhuvan University (TU)
Established in 1959, Tribhuvan University (TU) is Nepal’s oldest, largest, and government-financed public university. It is the ninth largest university globally by enrollment. Named after King Tribhuvan, its main campus moved to a 154.77-hectare site in Kirtipur in 1967 and celebrated its golden jubilee in 2009.TU features five technical institutes and four general faculties. As of March 2017, the university spans 60 constituent campuses and 1,084 affiliated colleges nationwide. It offers diverse academic options, including 115 proficiency certificate courses, 1,079 bachelor’s programs, 1,000 master’s courses, and Ph.D. degrees. Being state-funded, it remains more affordable than private institutions.

The APIE Camp is developed and taught by a team of experienced professionals and trainers. Through their expertise and background, they share the challenges facing internet engineers in the region.
KEIO University
Keio University is a leading educational institution in Japan, well known by its strong research programs in a wide range of fields and its commitment to education. Keio is also known for promoting international exchange programs and global partnerships.
APNIC Academy
APNIC’s primary role is to provide Internet number resources (IPv4, IPv6, ASNs) to members in the Asia Pacific region. The APNIC Academy supports the people who build, operate and maintain the Internet providing online learning platform and training programs.
AITAC
AITAC (Advanced IT Architect Human Resource Development Council) is an organization of experts from industry and academia in Japan aiming to nurture Internet architects who can design and operate such comprehensive systems.
